Trekking above Menaggio, Lake Como, Italy
Over the years we have been asked by friends to recommend day hikes in the Lake Como area. Above Menaggio, on the west side of the lake, there is a classic route to an alpine refuge (rifugio) which provides breathtaking views of the valley and the surrounding Alpine region.
